WordFan is an OEM product for the text retrieval and database markets.It consists of a set of linguistic tools which map individual words ontoother related words along one of several axes. Examples of axes include:conjugated forms, derived forms, synonyms, and antonyms., There are about80 such axes, most of them semantic. The result resembles a hypertextsystem. WordFan will eventually include software to improve compression,indexing methods, and retrieval speeds.
